What to Expect


Join expert teacher and long-time practitioner, Lori Brandt, for a 7-part series that helps beginners build a personal yoga practice. Each class will be 30-45 minutes in length.

  • Class #1 Foundations and Sun Salutations: This class covers the basic principles to follow throughout the practice and applies these foundations to the sun salutations.


  • Class #2 The Standing Poses: This class reviews the essentials to learning and refining the basic standing postures of the practice.


  • Class #3 The Seated Poses: This class is a beginner’s guide to the seated postures of the practice.


  • Class #4 Backbends: Reverse the ill effects of poor posture and a rounded spine with this session that teaches the ins and outs of back bending in the yoga practice.


  • Class #5 Inversions: Learn to safely turn upside down including shoulder and headstand. Modifications for a safe practice will be reviewed.


  • Class #6 The Closing Poses: How to mindfully conclude the practice. This class will review how to receive the perks of all those amazing yoga vibes.


  • Class #7 Bringing It All Together: Led Yoga for Beginners. This session ties all the above classes together with a 1-hour led yoga class.

Lori Brandt E-RYT-500 is a Licensed Physical Therapist and Yoga Instructor. She is the Founder of Shree Wellness and the Women’s Soul Tribe.

Lori specializes in helping individuals with orthopedic and medical impairments regain function through therapeutic yoga, mindset training, and lifestyle education.

Lori is an experienced registered yoga instructor and has practiced and studied yoga all over the world with some of the top Ashtanga yoga instructors.
